  This is the reason why sinners don't want anything to do with the church of today. There's more compassion in a pool hall than there is in a church who won't bury a woman who's family donated the land FOR the church. How ungrateful! Congratulations to the Board of Trustees at Acorn Ridge Baptist, you just proved how absolute power corrupts absolutely. Shame on you. Rest in peace Delphia Lee Maness and my sympathies to the Maness family.

  We love this Church! The Pastor preaches from the Holy Bible. Our family has been treated so well by all the members at Acorn Ridge. This is our Church Family!

  I have no experience with Acorn Ridge Baptist church except to hear of this debacle. I find this to be most non-christian. It seems to me that you are just money grubbing people. This could be a reason people turn away from religion.

  I'm so shocked about the decision being made on the burial plot. As a person that has lost her mother, the pain is unbearable! you have lost your first friend, your #1 cheerleader, the person that teaches you about God and gives you the tools to help you grow your relationship with God. To think that people who believe they run God's house are trying to play God. Please give this family the rights they deserve!!!!!
